These are 4-week in studio digital photography courses that provide an in-depth look at portraiture and studio photography. This class is for anyone at any photography level. This hands-on course teaches students how to work with a live subject and to create great images in a professional studio setting. In addition, students will also explore various camera settings, angles, lighting techniques, reflectors, and different color backdrops.
We recommend each participant bring a DLSR camera, and a memory card.
Learn the settings of a DLS camera system (iso, f/stop, shutter speed, depth of field)
Practice how to properly light a subject using studio lights and reflectors
Apply creative aesthetics to create beautiful pictures of subjects in the studio
Understanding digital workflow management
Utilizing editing tools layers, dodge, burn, mask, and others
After successfully completing this class, students gain confidence and know how to create great portraits. They will learn lighting techniques, photo composition, and aesthetics of portrait photography. Students will be provided with constructive feedback on their work.
